Every so often, it becomes necessary to check where we are in our journey with the cards and what the next step should be. After all, stagnation is never a good idea and brings us nowhere. The last few years have been quite interesting in terms of learning and practicing, be it with Lenormand, the Tarot de Marseille, or cards in general.
First, I want to share my views about cartomancy in general, and particularly Lenormand which has become my main reading deck, and from there the idea of this blog was born. As I wanted to start writing, this is certainly the best media to share my views and showcase how I read.
As is the case with all new ventures, I always find interesting to ask the cards for their view. The question I asked was open ended, to receive some advice on how to proceed with this blog.
Ring, Lily, Tower, Fish and Anchor.
For line readings, I never place a significator in the middle, I prefer to let the cards fall and tell me what the focus should be on. In case of advice readings, as opposed to an evolution over time, I like to read mostly in pairs, starting from the middle.
The tower, as focal point, is quite interesting in context of the question as it shows several aspects. First, isolation. Our course, when starting this blog there’s nobody yet following it. But mostly, isolation without distractions is of course a very important aspect for writing; the less distractions, the more quality writing can be done. Second, longevity, especially touching the Lily, this blog should be targeted for the long term.
If we look at the first pair, lily and fish, the advice is certainly to feed this blog with plenty of mature articles. But this takes time, the same way the lily is a flower that needs to be attended to, this blog will need to be cultivated over time, plenty as the fish indicate. The other pair, ring and anchor, show the same idea, commitment and repetition are important.
In conclusion, we can say that this blog will necessitate repeated mature articles to elevate itself, as indicated by the lily, ring and tower. This is certainly the way to bring repeat followers, as shown by the fish and anchor.
Deck: Dondorf variation #2 from game of hope lenormand.
