Fall is coming soon, another summer is slowly ending. As the wheel of seasons advances inexorably, I feel a shift coming in what I want to write about.
These last spring and summer, Lenormand has taken a place of honor in my writings, and Tarot was placed on the back burner. It is certainly something cyclical with me, but at this moment I want to write more about my views on Tarot. I will continue, of course, to write articles about Lenormand, but the balance with Tarot will be reestablished.
I am in the process of preparing a few articles on layouts that I use with the Tarot de Marseille, including the astrological spread, and Etteilla’s three steps, a complicated layout dealt with 23 cards. I will also mix these with articles on readings that I find interesting, using Tarot and Lenormand. And of course, I will continue to give my opinion on subjects I find relevant in the world of cards.
With winter coming in a few months, I suspect I am also going to experiment with decks I am not much familiar with, such as the oracle Belline, or the Vera Sibilla. Of course, the Tarot the Marseille and Lenormand will continue to remain my main decks, and the only ones I would use when reading for someone else. But learning additional techniques is certainly a way to keep our minds sharp.
I want also very soon to offer consultations with skype, facetime and whatever technique allows to teleconference with someone else over the internet. I am currently looking for a second webcam, which will allow me to dialog with you and at the same time to show the cards we read, on the table. I am also trying to find a solution for mixing the two webcams on my macbook pro.
Some things will never change. As usual, I will end with a reading. I asked my tarot what I can expect for this fall?
LA MORT – LA ROUE DE FORTUNE – LE JUGEMENT
On the wheel of time, nothing is permanent, everything evolves, cycles come and go. Some things die to allow others to be born. Change is constant.
I am always stunned by the cards randomly selected. Once again they express completely what I want to achieve. Tarot always amazes me!
